We will typically see patients that are not quite ready for treatment every 6-12 months to monitor growth and development. Once in treatment, appointments are typically every other month. After treatment is complete we are always available to check retainers if there are any concerns.
Common orthodontic treatments include Damon braces or clear Spark aligners. The costs vary based on treatment type and complexity. Come in for a complimentary consultation to determine which treatment is right for you and a cost estimate.

When it comes to orthodontic treatment there are many different types and brands of braces and clear aligners. We utilize Damon Braces which offer some of the lowest forces available, which means much less discomfort for our patients. With Damon Braces, less visits are necessary while finishing treatment in the same or less time than with traditional braces. We also utilize Spark aligners which consistently deliver outstanding results for our patients.
Call or text us during our regular business hours and we’ll get you scheduled for a repair. If it occurs after business hours or on the weekend, give us a call and leave a message on our emergency line.

While there will be some discomfort initially and after each adjustment or new aligner, forces are much lower with the Damon Braces and Spark aligners than traditional braces. Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen tend to help with any discomfort, which typically only lasts a day or 2 after each appointment. Some people don’t experience any discomfort!
At your first orthodontic visit you will meet with our treatment coordinator who will take some photos and an x-ray so Dr. Noyce can diagnose your condition and determine what treatment options are best for you. You will then meet Dr Noyce who will discuss your options and answer all of your questions. You will then receive an estimate for each treatment option that you are interested in. Most times we can even bond your Damon Braces or scan for your Spark Aligners at the initial visit if you are ready to start treatment!

With Damon Braces and NiTi, wires we can allow maximum working time for each wire to achieve the best result possible, which means less visits for you. Some wires we use work for 6 weeks, some wires work for 12 weeks, so the time between your visits will vary!
Dr Noyce recommends age 7 for your child’s first visit to the orthodontist. There are some conditions that are easier to correct at a younger age. Some conditions become much more difficult to treat or require more complex treatments as the patient gets into their teenage years or closer to adulthood.
The average orthodontic treatment takes between 12-18 months. However, there are milder cases that take under 12 months as well as more complex cases that can take over 2 years.
