We are proud to use the Damon Bracket System – the most efficient method for providing exceptional orthodontic treatment. Offering a significant advantage over traditional braces, this state-of-the-art technology moves teeth faster, is more comfortable, and reduces treatment time. This remarkable bracket system has resulted in improved quality of treatment and a dramatically decreased need for permanent tooth extraction.

Damon brackets are beneficial for patients of all ages. Adults benefit because of lower forces and faster treatment when compared to traditional braces. Damon brackets are also indicated for patients with periodontal (gum) problems due to the light forces they deliver.

Feel free to ask Dr. Noyce or one of his staff about the Damon System. Discover the difference between traditional braces and this new, improved, and more passive method of orthodontic treatment.

Invisalign is the clear alternative to braces and uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are no problem. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor’s office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

Invisalign is a terrific option for working professionals or patients seeking a discrete solution to improve their smile, however it is not ideal for every case. Dr. Noyce is a certified Invisalign provider, so he can use his expertise to determine if Invisalign is the right treatment choice for you.

LASERS

Laser treatment is fast becoming the preferred method of taking care of many ailments that previously required several sessions and treatments, such as gum-line reshaping, removal of swollen gum tissue, and correcting crowded teeth. The tissue in the mouth is very thin and sensitive, and it can be desensitized for laser operations using a topical anesthetic. Lasers can drastically reduce the waiting time between procedures, and can restore your teeth to a healthy state in much less time.

Healing time is greatly reduced as the patient doesn’t suffer from any bleeding. There is also little chance that a laser treatment can cause additional swelling, shrinkage or infection. Patients can save money by having what used to be multi-session treatments completed in a single session.

TEMPORARY ANCHORAGE DEVICES

Temporary anchorage devices, or TADs, are small titanium anchors used in certain orthodontic cases to help achieve quicker tooth movement with more efficiency and comfort. TADs may be used in addition to braces or as an alternative to headgear. The device is temporary and is removed when it is no longer needed or once your treatment is complete.

If you have questions about TADs, please contact our practice. We will be able to answer any of your questions and provide you with detailed information about your orthodontic treatment.
